Bella Coola is a popular summer destination so please book your accommodations ahead of time. Check out bellacoola.ca for tourism info. With endless hiking and sightseeing opportunities, you might just need an extra day or 2!
Kid's Site
A super special area set up just for the littles to enjoy any time throughout the weekend. Activities include face painting, bouncy castle and hoola-hoop making, among others! Various acts make up the Children's Festival on Saturday and Sunday from 12-4pm.
Nuxalk Nation
Nuxalkulmc is the unceded, ancestral territory of the Nuxalkmc. Each year before the festival begins, the crowd is honored with a welcome ceremony and a taste of a culture alive and well in the Bella Coola Valley. Visit nuxalk.net for more information on Indigenous sovereignty.
Great Food
No need to pack a lunch to this event. We are so impressed each year with the delicious variety of food the vendors are able to cook up right on site. No need to choose, just try them all! Bannock anyone?
